Disneyland Autopia Attraction Now Sponsored By Honda

DELLA Honda Pburgh
Honda has just announced that they are now officially the new sponsor of the classic Disneyland Resort ride Autopia. As such, they will be providing the resort with the means to help them update the ride with a new look and a refresh to the current storyline. The Autopia attraction is one of the original attractions that was part of the park when it first opened back in 1955 and it includes a series of cars that attendees can drive along a winding path around the park. While Honda may have just signed on as an official sponsor they have already been part of this ride for some time since all of the vehicles in the attraction are powered by Honda engines. "Autopia has brought joy to generations of families and has created lasting memories for millions of Disneyland guests," said Takuji Yamada, president & CEO of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "Honda is proud to sponsor this iconic attraction and continue our alliance with Disneyland Resort.""Honda Powers Classic Disneyland Resort Attraction: Autopia." Honda Newsroom. N.p., 29 Mar. 2016. Clement D’Souza Featured In What Makes A Honda is Who Makes A Honda

The newest episode of the “What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda” series has just been released by the brand. This episode focuses on mechanical engineer Clement D’Souza who is a 26 year veteran of Honda of America Mfg., Inc.. He was most recently largely a part of the creation and development of the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio that will be exclusively responsible for the global production of the 2017 Acura NSX supercar. Clement and his family were originally from India where his first passion was field hockey and then became motorcycles when he moved to the U.S. This second love is what led him to become part of the Honda team where he worked and grew over time. Finally, in 2012, he was presented with the opportunity to become the project leader for the development of the new NSX and he eagerly took on the challenge to become part of the development of an entirely new vehicle. D'Souza speaks to the challenging spirit of Honda as the secret to his enduring commitment to the company. "You can produce something in a new way," he said. Honda Inspires with “Greatness is Within Reach” Campaign

Honda’s “Greatness is Within Reach” is a national campaign that shows how Honda vehicles are helping hardworking people achieve their dreams. Recently, Honda has released a new television campaign that will share the stories of three different people who are striving for success in their lives and careers. They focus in on coffee shop owner, Jesse Diaz, ballerina Karina Gonzalez, and executive chef Rick Lopez and show how their motivation, passion, and commitment are synonymous with the Honda brand’s philosophy. "I started with $2,000 and a dream. Stay driven, stay motivated, stay happy, stay positive and surround yourself with the best people in the world,” says 33-year-old Diaz, who owns Dark Matter Coffee in Chicago. “We can teach people our trade; we can't teach passion. If you want something in life, just go for it and don't stop.” "From the beginning I really knew this was my passion, and that I needed to do my best every time," says 29-year-old Gonzalez who is a native Venezuelan principal ballerina of the Houston Ballet. "I think my best advice, especially for younger students, is to really believe in yourself. You can never be perfect but you can be excellent. Whatever you want in life, don't be afraid to go for your dreams." 34-year-old Lopez, executive chef at La Condesa, says “Always give your best because nobody can take that away from you,' that's what I feel. It's not mentioned in the commercial but my first car was a Honda – and my wife has been driving one for quite a while. I have a very strong connection to this brand."
