DELLA Honda PB

It is no secret that Honda has been dedicated to raising the safety standards of the vehicles in their lineup for quite some time now. Well, that strong attention to safety has just been proven twice over as the 2017 Honda Ridgeline just became the only pickup truck in America to earn the highest possible safety rating from both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). These ratings are a 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the IIHS when equipped with Honda Sensing with Specific Headlights and a Five-Star Overall Vehicle Rating from the NHTSA*.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline is equipped with standard safety features such as Side Curtain Airbags (some vehicles equipped with a rollover sensor as well), Multi-Angle Rearview Camera, Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) Body Structure, Vehicle Stability Assist™ with Traction Control, Front Side Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, and Advanced Front Airbags.

The higher trim level options for this model can also be equipped with the available Honda Sensing™ suite. This suite is made up of safety and driver-assistive technologies line Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, and Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning.

*Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s New Car Assessment Program (www.safercar.gov). Model tested with standard side airbags (SAB).
